The Kentucky Select Chevy Dealers Comedy Cruze has added 3 Bluegrass Cities to our tour. Due to the great response we got from the Commonwealth over the summer we added 3 more dates with the final one including a fabulous dinner. 1st stop is in Mt. Sterling at the Gateway Regional Arts Center at 101 East Main Street September 10th 8pm. Tickets can be bought in advanced by calling 859-498-6264.
Next stop we head north to Maysville and visit the historic Washington Opera House. That show is Friday September 16th at 8pm and you can purchase tickets at the door. Both dates tickets are $12.
Our finale will conclude in Country Music Superstar Style with our buddy Eddie Montgomery inviting us to his place in Harrodsburg on Thursday September 29th. This is the way to go out with a bang. Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse will provide dinner and we provide the show for one affordable ticket! I have seen what the chefs are preparing for that night and it will be wonderful. Harrodsburg will become Vegas for a few hours. Chris Makes Lee Sick

I sound like uncle Jed but the video evidence is just above. I don’t know how Nicole does it!

This week I will be at the Woodland Art Fair with many of my co-workers manning a booth. We will be there Sunday between 2 and 4. Chris Goodman will have some Jams and Jellies for sale that he mashed himself. Nicole Pence will enthrall kids of all ages with tales of Big Foot and Space Aliens. Meanwhile I will be looking for a funnel cake. Chris is trying to get me to man a kissing booth to raise money for victims of athletes foot, but I declined. In today’s world of communicable diseases a kissing booth sounds about as much fun as sharing a bob for apples trough with a snot nose kid wearing head gear. Which describes me at prom. Hope to see you out there this Sunday

My wife is out of town so without supervision I decided to stay up and watch my recording of the PGA Championship in Atlanta. I didn’t get to see the end because it went into a 3 hole sudden death and I only added a 1/2 hour to my recording! No big deal except I invested 5 hours which put me into the 2 am hour. I have to be at work around 4:30 am! At my age this type of behavior can result in paramedics.  This is one of the many reasons I got married to prevent self degradation and ultimately my own destruction.  Thank God for my wife and women in general or this place would be nothing but jack upped caffeinated zombies driving fast and smelling bad just looking for a couch to lay on.

Firefighter Combat Challenge

This is a something fun and different to do with the family this weekend. Fire Fighters from all around the country will be in town to try and qualify for the nationals. If you can make it go out to Lexington Green and root for our Kentucky guys!

Today is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen for every purchased Blizzard at Dairy Queen They provide a dollar to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital.  That’s right to eat healthy vegetables and non tasting fiber non fat products is like slapping your nephew.   So do the right thing today and go pig out with a delicious blizzard of your choice and help a great cause.   If your waste band expands for the afternoon just remember the Rubenesque period could make a comeback any moment now!
