More dry weather for us today and not much hope for rain over the next several days. We could see an afternoon shower Thursday with a frontal boundary that will move close to the area. Into the weekend more dry and hot weather expected.
Ophelia is moving near the Carolina coast and may graze the outer banks of North Carolina Wednesday. I am still getting calls about Ophelia and when it will move into the Gulf. Ophelia WILL NOT move into the Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to move away from land Thursday and move out into the open waters of the Atlantic.
The Gulf, Caribbean, and the Atlantic other than Ophelia is clear and no tropical systems will develop over the weekend.
I’m getting anxious for a cool blast, but I don’t see anything until at least the end of the month. Stay Cool.
