Some great beer blogs
A lot of people ask me where I get my inspiration. Besides the obvious (beer), a lot of inspiration comes from my fellow beer bloggers. With a subject as massive and diverse as craft beer I think it’s important to see what other people think of the beers I love. Even more than that, these people are all over the country covering their local places and giving us insights into places we’ve never been in the craft beer world. Here’s a short list of some of my favs. If I forgot you add a comment and pimp out your site!
100 Bottles of Beer: This one is run by Roert “Bob” Archibald, one of the best home brewers I’ve ever come across. Bob is also a beertender at Bristol and shares some of his informative (and often hilarious) home brew stories.
Colorado Springs Craft Beer Examiner: Eli Shayotovich of BeerTapTV shares his thoughts on the Colorado beer scene. A must for anybody in Southern Colorado! Trust me, dude knows his stuff!
Jenn and Beer: Another great Colorado beer mind who travels the state (much like yours truly) to find the best our great state has to offer.
Hoptopia: Not as much a beer blog as one of the ultimate beer guides around! Lee Williams tries damn near every beer known to man and gives you the lowdown. A great resource and he has an i-Phone app to boot!
Drink With the Wench: Believe it or not, this is the first beer blog I ever became a fan of. Ashley Routson (aka The Beer Wench) runs in my opinion the ultimate beer blog. She not only covers the latest in the beer world, but she also interviews other beer bloggers (including me) to get their take on the wonderful world of craft beer.
100 Beers. 30 Days: One of my favs. Laurie Delk runs this blog not only to talk about great beers, but she does it for charity as well! Definitely a worth while cause.
Beernews.org: Fantastic blog for anything and everything in craft beer news. If CNN ran a beer site this would be it! A must read for all craft beer fans!
The Hops Honey: Genevieve Shuler runs a great site dedicated to her exploration of the craft beer world. Like myself she takes beercations and writes about the adventures along the way. Way in-depth blog and definitely worth coming back to again and again.
BasicallyRed: Stevie Caldarona writes a great blog with a lot of east coast influence which I love because it gives me insight to places and beers I need to find! Looking forward to having a beer with Stevie and Lee at GABF this year!
BeerTapTV: Not a blog, but a fun yet in-depth look at all things craft beer. Guys like Erik Boles, Eli Shayotovich and Brandon “Whoptbird” Jones know their beer. But like me, they take a “barstool” or every day kind of guy approach to talking about it. The ultimate Beer TV and Lifestyle website! PS… stay tuned for a big announcement involving your boy Romey and BeerTapTV on August 5th!
There’s about a billion other fantastic beer blogs out there that I haven’t mentioned. Get out there and check em out! You can find a lot of them from looking at the people I follow on Twitter.
Until next time beer lovers…

Thank you so much for the love. And I’m glad that I could be your “first” … hehehehe. Keep up the awesome work, my friend! Cannot wait to meet you in person!
Cheers,
Ashley
