Whoa! I get a National Award for Investigative Reporting?

Posted at 6:35 pm under Jarman

The Radio-Television News Directors Association honored me with the National Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting.

You can check out my winning story here.

I apologize I wasn’t able to make it to the awards banquet in New York, but thank you for such a prestigious honor.

Also be sure to check out our photographer Gene Cotton’s blog.  He, freelance reporter Joe Myers and I  all worked on the story that won.  Gene is also the photographer who goes on all my investigative stories and is prepared to “throw down” if someone “wants some.” hahahaha! ;)
