This book is everything Jeanette has so eloquently described and more. I would love to see it made into a movie. Kathy Bates would portray SueEllen perfectly. I urge everyone to read this book and take risk in your own life. As a retired bookseller, with experience promoting first published authors, an avid reader and Mother I encourage you to experience this book you will be glad you did.

I'm a huge library fan myself and was wondering how libraries would adapt to the e-reader world. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. But how can they charge you a late fee for a digital download?

I'll get into e-readers more when you can check books out of the library with them. I love the idea of them, but I'm not a regular book buyer, but I devour the library.

Thanks for the advice. I don't see many movies these days, so I want the ones I see to be worth the price of admission/rental/download.

Since it is long gone from the theater, perhaps I should have said wishing you'd not rented or bought the movie.

You asked for it...don't see the movie. The book is far better and the movie will leave you empty -- and wishing you'd not bought the ticket.
