Pueblo City Park Clubhouse

<back

The City Park tennis clubhouse was built around the 1930s. Decades later, this rustic style of architecture has become an outdated eyesore for the city’s most popular tennis complex. The bleachers are literally crumbling apart and the bathroom/clubhouse is in need of a major renovation.

This stadium is fenced off to the public because the concrete seats are crumbling apart.

Concrete is crumbling. Rebar exposed. Panels cover gaping holes.

This rustic stone clubhouse looks quaint from the outside. However, inside the restrooms and main room are in need of a major upgrade.

Inside men's restroom. Shower area dismantled, floor covered with plywood. There's one bench. No lockers.

Windows covered with concrete blocks. Several glass panels broken. This one has toilet brush scrubber stored inside it.

Having only one sink doesn't seem adequate for the dozens of athletes who use this facility on weekends. At least there are two toilets and one urinal.
