Growing up in the mean streets of Detroit made me want leave town and head for greener pastures, I left Detroit in 1998 but those green pastures quickly turned blue. I landed a job and sailed the ocean blue to the far corners of the globe, working for Royal Caribbean International and managed the onboard TV station for over 7 years. I have been all over the world, and seem some amazing things and met some amazing people, including my Wife.
We got married in 2002 in California and in 2006 we moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. I work for the NBC affiliate as a Photojournalist (News Camera Guy). Being in the TV business for the last 18 years, I have gotten to do some really neat stuff. One of my favorite is I run our Satellite Truck, so lots of out of town trips are made to all kinds of Breaking News that happens in and around Colorado.
As you are driving away from the storm, I am the guy driving right into it.
